Melvin Aycock, Jr. PG
Senior Project Manager & Environmental Manager

Melvin has over 30 years diverse experience which includes minerals exploration, remote sensing, terrain analysis, geotechnical investigations, environmental site investigations for property transfers, environmental impact studies, Brownfields site assessment and remediation, RCRA investigations, Superfund site assessment, and leaking underground storage tanks site investigation and remediation. Melvin has a Bachelor of Science degree from MS State University and has completed graduate work at the University of Missouri-Rolla, LA State University, TX A&M University, and MS State University.  Melvin is a Registered Professional Geologist in AR and MS.


Dale Case
Project Manager & Geologist

Dale graduated from Auburn University with a BS degree in geology and performed post-graduate studies in geology at Tulsa University and the University of Alabama. Dale worked in the petroleum industry specializing in petrophysics and subsurface investigations for 16 years. Dale subsequently applied his knowledge of regional geology, the physical character of rocks and expertise in subsurface investigations toward the environmental industry characterizing aquifers and assessing fate and transport of contaminants. Dale's expertise is in solid waste and StormWater permitting, fiduciary investigations and risk evaluation.


Brian Cobb, PG, PE
President & Principal Engineer

Brian has over 25 years experience in environmental regulatory and consulting services with emphasis in Tank Compliance, Hazardous Waste Compliance, CERCLA, StormWater, Solid Waste, Fueling System Design and Installation, Environmental Assessment and Remediation. Brian is registered Professional Engineer in AL, FL, MS, TN and GA. A registered Professional Geologist in FL, AL and MS. He is certified to remove and install tanks and piping in AR, LA, KY, and AA. He graduated from the University of Mississippi in 1982 with a Degree in Geological Engineering.

Brian established Cobb Environmental & Technical Services, Inc. (CETS) in 1997 after years of experience as a regulator with the State of Florida, a consultant, and an Environmental and Construction Manager with a 1,000 store C-Store chain located in over 25 states.


Gregg Hodges
Certified Electrician & Tank Specialist

Gregg is a Certified Tank Installer and Remover and provides Senior Leadership for petroleum installations. Gregg is licensed electrician and is routinely involved in electrical aspects of the projects. Former a Maintenance Manager for a large independent oil jobber, Gregg has been trained on point-of-sale Ruby Verifone systems, has been to various dispenser schools, automatic carwash schools, and is trained in environmental site sampling and compliance. Gregg is highly trained and experienced in all types of installations.


Jerry Hunter
Senior Technician & Tank Specialist

Jerry is a Senior Environmental Technician with CETS who has over 20 years of experience in fueling systems, environmental sampling, and remediation system installations, maintenance and troubleshooting. Jerry is a Certified Tank Installer in MS, LA and AR and has been with CETS for over 11 years. Jerry is trained and certified on Veeder Root and Incon Tank Monitoring Systems and various petroleum submergible pumping systems, installation of various petroleum related piping systems, various aboveground and below tank manufacturers and is an expert in fueling installations and removals. He is utilized to troubleshoot and provide senior leadership on various types of complex electro-mechanical installations and issues.


Robert Langford, PG
Project Manager & Hydrogeologist

Robert is a registered professional geologist in AR, KY, MS, and TN. He has more than 15 years experience in assessment and remediation of hazardous waste sites and leaking underground storage tank sites. He has had responsibility for a large number of small to large environmental projects, including site assessments, monitoring for dissolved contaminates, LNAPL, and DNAPL, free product recovery, soil and groundwater remediation, and achieved site closure on many of the projects. He has extensive experience in drilling, installation of groundwater monitoring wells and piezometers, well logging, well surveys, soil and rock classifications, aquifer characterization testing, percolation testing, sample collection, data reduction, and computer modeling. Robert has served as a geotechnical laboratory supervisor for multiple geo-technical firms in the United States and in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.


Cathy Riddle, EA
Contracts Administration & Accountant

Cathy is federally licensed by the U.S. Department of the Treasury as an Enrolled Agent (EA) to practice in the field of taxation and accounting with professionalism and technical competence. With over fifteen years of prior public accounting tax and CPA firm experience, two business accounting degrees and a masters of taxation degree from the University of Mississippi Riddle demonstrates fundamental accounting, auditing, and tax knowledge to apply advanced knowledge of professional accounting principles and business techniques to general accounting, accounts payable/receivable, agreed upon procedure reporting, operational/external/compliance auditing and tax/regulatory reporting and research. Cathy is a member of the board of directors for the Mississippi Society of Enrolled Agents. She is responsible for the accounts payable, receivables, payroll, and human resource functions at CETS.


David St. John, PE
Project Manager & Engineer

David is a licensed professional engineer in MS, TN, and AR with more than ten years experience in environmental consulting. His project management experience includes coordinating the efforts of diverse teams, managing the Remedial Investigation of a high-priority hazardous waste Superfund site in conjunction with the EPA, site characterization and remediation of properties reclaimed for use as public housing facilities under voluntary cleanup agreements, designing and constructing waste water treatment systems, designing and permitting of a demolition landfill, supervising the lining of a municipal landfill, removing underground storage tanks, compiling construction documents and bid packages, drafting operation and maintenance manuals, evaluating contractor bids, cost analyses, Environmental Site Assessments, NEPA Evaluations, Soil and Groundwater Remediation, Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans, Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasure Plans, Emergency Response Plans, EPA / OSHA Compliance Inspections, Indoor Air Quality Evaluations, Noise Exposure Surveys, Regulatory Negotiations, and Safety Training.


Roger Morrow
Project Manager & Petroleum Technician

Roger is certified to install and remove tanks in MS.  Mr. Morrow is experienced in the construction industry and is responsible for subcontracts, coordination of materials, estimating and monitoring progress and insuring customer satisfaction. Roger is StormWater trained, OSHA Certified and is certified on Franklin Fueling equipment, OPW Flexworks and Xerxes Tank Installations.
